Hi, I'm Käthe Patricia - the creator, editor, designer, packer, and occasional overthinker behind Remember Life.

What started as a small creative project slowly grew into a seasonal print magazine created by women, for women. I wanted to make something tangible in a world that increasingly exists on screens: something you could read with your morning coffee, take to the beach, underline your favourite passages in, and revisit years later.

Remember Life was born from my love of storytelling, creativity, and the little things that often go unnoticed. The magazine brings together essays, recommendations, interviews, visual art, personal reflections, and contributions from women in Estonia and beyond. My hope is that each issue feels like a gentle reminder to slow down, pay attention, and find beauty in ordinary moments.

Looking back, I think my love for handmade things has always been there. As a child, I would spend hours sewing tiny clothes for my dolls by hand and building little rooms and houses for them from whatever materials I could find. Those are still some of my most treasured childhood memories. Looking back now, I realise those small projects gave me a place to escape into my imagination and create little worlds of my own. I don't think I understood it back then, but I needed that kind of creativity more than I knew.

During university I picked up a crochet hook almost by accident, and what began as a small creative escape gradually turned into something much bigger. Today, crochet has become a hobby, a creative outlet, and a part of my everyday work. I genuinely can't imagine my life without it anymore.

There's something incredibly special about making things by hand. I love the quiet rhythm of it, the patience it teaches, and the feeling of turning a few simple materials into something that might become part of someone else's daily life. I know I still have so much to learn, but one of my favourite parts of creating is seeing how much I've grown over the years - not only in my crochet, but also as a writer, designer, and publisher. Every new project teaches me something I carry into the next one.
